Restored 1963 GMC K1000 4x4 & 1960 Shasta Compact Camper Trailer...

This restored classic pickup underwent a comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration focused on retaining a factory appearance while incorporating carefully selected details and modern mechanical upgrades.

The fully restored chassis is powered by a rebuilt and upgraded 283 cubic-inch V8, paired with a rebuilt Novak SM420 heavy-duty four-speed transmission and a fully refreshed NP205 transfer case. Both the front and rear axles have been upgraded for durability and performance, with the rear featuring a limited-slip differential. Additional upgrades include a dual exhaust system, PSC power steering system with overflow reservoir, a hydroboost four-wheel disc brake setup, and new American Auto Wire wiring harnesses.

The interior was restored to complement the truck’s overall build. The dashboard retains a classic appearance with a custom-built gauge cluster. The cab has been fully sound -deadened, insulated and finished with a utilitarian vinyl rubber floor. The seat has been reupholstered in a GMC-inspired pattern. Modern amenities include a custom stainless steel center console, Vintage Air A/C and a discreet 5-channel amplified Bluetooth audio system.
